Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel

Chicago

Radisson Blu's sleek rooms occupy floors one to 18 of the rippling, 82-story Aqua Tower, designed by local starchitect Jeanne Gang. Standard rooms are ample and clean-lined, with deco-style lamps and lounge chairs, thick marine-blue carpet, tall windows and big, aqua-hued bathrooms. Most rooms have pretty city or park views. Upgrading to a room with a balcony is worth it.

There's free wi-fi throughout. Service is top-notch, as is the fitness center with indoor and outdoor pools, a running track and half basketball court.
