Chicago

To boogie with a multiethnic mash-up of locals, head to the Spirit of Music Garden in Grant Park for SummerDance. Bands play a wide range of toe-stepping music: swing, house, rumba, samba, Afrobeat and other styles, preceded by an hour of fun dance lessons – all free. Ballroom-quality moves are absolutely not required.
