Hints of Frank Lloyd Wright, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and other famed local architects show up in the mod, earthy design. The 159 minimalist rooms are on the small side but have cool decor, including a turntable or Martin guitar in most.
Free wi-fi, 24-hour room service, a Stumptown Coffee Roasters cafe and a supreme-view rooftop bar are all part of the stylish package. Many of Chicago's best restaurants and bars are steps away.
