South Fork Campground

Sequoia National Park

Remote, little-used, tent-only campground on the river. It's 13 miles from Three Rivers at the end of a beautiful, but slightly hair-raising drive. The road up snakes around the mountain and becomes partly unpaved, rough and narrow. You may encounter cattle en route. Bear lockers, fire rings and vault toilets are available, but no water from mid-October until late May.

A good base for nearby trails Ladybug and Garfield Sequoia Grove.
