Jalama Beach County Park

About 60 miles west of Santa Barbara, this beachfront park is much quieter than others in Santa Barbara County. There's good birding and whale-watching, along with picnic areas and a grocery store–cafe serving the 'world famous' Jalama burger. High winds and strong currents mean swimming is best avoided.
