McBride Springs

Mt Shasta Region

Easily accessible from Everitt Memorial Hwy, this campground has running water and pit toilets, but no showers. It’s near mile marker 4, at an elevation of 5000ft. It’s no beauty – a recent root disease killed many of the white fir trees that shaded the sites – but it’s convenient. Arrive early in the morning to secure a spot (no reservations).
