June Bug Cafe

Top choice in Yosemite & the Sierra Nevada

Guests of all ages and backgrounds convene at this friendly eatery, decorated with adventure equipment. While sharing hiking stories, folks eat delicious, freshly prepared meals (or drink beer and wine in the evenings). More than a half-dozen inexpensive healthy and hearty (and almost gourmet!) dishes are on the menu and are served cafeteria-style, so clear and stack your own plate.

Dishes include creations like lemongrass braised pork shoulder in a yellow curry broth. Or pistachio-crusted trout topped with lemon butter and served with rice and broccoli. Many ingredients are sourced locally and organically, and there are good vegetarian options, too. The homemade cheesecake is out-of-this-world. Sometimes has live music; inquire inside.
