Carousel may call itself a Lebanese restaurant, but this huge place has a commensurately huge following among Glendale's Armenian community. We can see why: succulent shawarma and kebabs, mounds of mezzas (small plates, hummus to steak tartare) and desserts made with ashta (condensed milk) and honey are knockouts.
Evenings can border on rowdy with large groups celebrating special occasions (complete with sparklers in desserts) and live musicians and belly dancers on Friday and Saturday nights. It's more sedate at lunchtime.
There's lot and valet parking.
