Café de Leche

Los Angeles

Sunshiny, mellow and just a little grungy, this corner coffee shop keeps it local with changing art on the walls, gig posters on the windows and a kids' play corner out back. Libations include a few Latin-influenced concoctions (Mexican hot chocolate anyone?). Good wi-fi and a generous scattering of power sockets make it a popular work space.

Staff are notoriously glum but harmless.
