Castañeda Hotel

New Mexico

Each room spotlights a New Mexico animal at this restored 1898 beauty, the first in a chain of trackside hotels from legendary hotelier Fred Harvey. After closing its doors in 1948, the Castañeda was purchased in 2014 by the same folks behind the successful restorations of the Plaza Hotel downtown and the La Posada Hotel in Winslow, AZ.

The pet fee is $10 per pet per night, plus a one-time $40 refundable deposit if there's no damage.
