Croke Park Whitey's

Boston

Whitey's is everything a dive bar is supposed to be, with cheap beer, free pool, free popcorn and a cast of colorful local characters propping up the bar. This is old-school Southie, and it's not nearly as scary as it's made out to be in the movies. Potent mixed drinks are served in pint glasses, as are Guinness and PBRs.

Walk a half-mile south from Broadway station.
