Inga’s Galley

Southeast Alaska

From this (surprisingly charming) parking-lot shack comes Petersburg's most creative food. Inga’s Mitkof sandwich is seasoned and seared halibut topped with pesto, prosciutto and melted provolone. The fish and chips is fresh rockfish rolled in panko (Japanese breadcrumbs).

There are also nonseafood items on the menu and a large tent with heaters where you can mingle with locals while staying dry and warm.
