Base Camp Anchorage Hostel

Conveniently located in the thick of midtown action, this great little hostel has a coin-operated laundry, a kitchen, lockers, luggage storage and bicycle rental ($15 per day). The large dorm rooms (including female-only) have two bunk beds, so you're never crowded. Outside you'll find a tipi, garden, sauna and, often, live music. Buses stop on Spenard Rd, a block away.
