Alaska Center for the Performing Arts

Impresses tourists with the 40-minute film Aurora: Alaska’s Great Northern Lights (adult/child $15/7), screened on the hour from 9am to 9pm during summer in its Sydney Laurence Theatre. It’s also home to the Anchorage Opera, Anchorage Symphony Orchestra, Anchorage Concert Association and Alaska Dance Theatre.
