Montevideo

Lucía Soria’s fresh-baked bread, flavorful salads and soups, savory tarts and sandwiches and other gastronomic delights have been pleasing Montevidean palates since 2012, when Soria first opened this high-ceilinged, checker-floored eatery in Ciudad Vieja. The food’s as good as ever, and Soria’s rise to fame as a MasterChef TV star in 2017 has added an extra dose of panache.
