Buenas Vibras Hostel

Montevideo

This newer, smaller hostel in trendy Parque Rodó doesn't immediately impress with its aesthetics, but the friendly reception more than compensates. Owner-manager Matias organizes barbecues, low-cost trips to local football matches and other events to bring people together and facilitate intercultural exchange. At research time, the 18-bed hostel was expanding to include a fourth dorm and one private room.
