Zahr El Laymoun

Sharjah

Head here for a breakfast of shakshuka and manakeesh or a mezze feast of a dinner with lesser-seen Lebanese specialities of hindbeh (dandelion) salad and makanek (spicy Lebanese beef sausage doused in pomegranate molasses) on the menu as well as all the classics.

Fans of kibbeh (meat-filled cracked-wheat croquettes) are in for a treat as there's four types to choose from. The spicy kibbeh, stuffed with chilli paste and onion, is delicious.
