Chef Darren Velvick flies the flag for modern British cooking at this relaxed restaurant with an open kitchen and spacious terrace overlooking the lights of Dubai Marina. There's an emphasis on locally grown and organic ingredients, along with craft beer, well-priced wine and a daily happy hour from 5pm to 8pm.
Starters might include twice baked stilton with toasted walnuts and poached pear, followed by mains such as caramelised butternut risotto with crispy sage or beer battered fish and chips. The Friday brunch (Dhs399), Saturday roast and weekly curry night are all classic concepts given a modern Brit-inspired twist.
