You can't beat the beachy atmosphere of this restaurant, surrounded by narrow water-feature canals and looking out towards the sand. The pan-Asian flavours, and twists on traditional dishes, are spot on, from its prawn and banana blossom salad to confit duck in a red curry laced with lychee and aubergine. Bonus points for an extensive, and varied, separate vegetarian menu.
Kudos also for the impressive kids' menu, which romps from chicken satay with egg-fried rice to prawn tempura with fries. For non-stop Asian food feasting it does a Saturday brunch from 1pm to 4pm (with/without alcohol Dhs415/280, including access to the pools and beach).
