Housed in a postmodern building with an eye-catching honeycomb mantle, Manarat Al Saadiyat ('place of enlightenment') hosts regular art courses and workshops and film screenings. There are also occasional temporary art exhibitions. Check the website to see if anything interesting is happening before you troop all the way out here. Otherwise, the time to visit is during the Abu Dhabi Art Fair for which it is the major venue.
