A very convenient place to eat is this self-service canteen on the 3rd floor of the TsUM department store, right in the centre of town. Point and hope at the array of pancakes, meatballs, borshch and buckwheat, order a coffee or beer and install yourself in one of the red leatherette cubicles. There's good wi-fi for long hot afternoons.
