Squat 17b Yard Cafe

Kyiv

Run by squatters living upstairs at the same address. It was once large enough to host live bands, but much of their space was reclaimed in 2017 and the open-air coffeeshop reduced to a narrow strip. Still, it retains a decidedly bohemian vibe, with Louis Armstrong on the soundtrack, excellent coffee, pies and mildly alcoholic cider.

It's at the back left of the courtyard behind the Khanenko Museum of Arts.
