Nyore Hillside Retreat

In the owner's family for generations, this hillside set of bandas (thatched-roofed huts) provides a peaceful and welcoming retreat surrounded by coffee and banana plantations. Campers get tents with air mattresses and linens set in a garden. The on-site restaurant serves up wonderful curries. To get here, zigzag on the dirt roads 27km west of Mbarara.
