With landlord who speaks no English and 15 basic, clean rooms tucked away in a central residential neighbourhood, the Tayfun is an acceptable alternative to Alanya's bling. There's a small, leafy garden adjacent for end-of-day relaxing and plenty of cafes on nearby Damlataş Caddesi for breakfast.
