A short walk from Kastamonu centre and the castle, this hotel comprises two Ottoman houses faithfully restored, with Indian carpets, red-brown trimmings and lashings of dark wood. Rooms in the front house are more appealing, leading off from atmospheric communal salons. There's a private garden outside. One room is fitted-out for disabled access. It's very popular and worth booking ahead.
