The twee decor at the `Pearl’ – Louis XIV meets 19th-century Turkish konak wrapped in crepe-de-chine – may not be to everyone's taste (except, maybe, a bride’s). But it's boutique, small (18 rooms), good value and very central; indeed, all of İskenderun will be at your doorstep. There's a decent restaurant (mains ₺20 to ₺38) and bar on the ground floor.
