A time-warp feel dominates at this old-timer on busy (read: noisy) Maarif Caddesi. Rooms have nanna-esque decor with worn furniture and fittings, and the basement bar-restaurant where breakfast is served has tartan carpet that must have been ultra-fashionable in the 1970s. It's clean, though, and the English-speaking manager goes out of his way to be helpful.
