Old-fashioned charm abounds in the five rooms with their dark-wood Ottoman inbuilt wall-cupboards and windows dressed with white embroidered and tasselled curtains. Breakfasts can include katmer (pastry layered with nuts and clotted cream) and it's worth opting in for an evening meal – often a lingering al-fresco affair.
