Bonjuk Bay

Top choice in South Aegean

This remote back-to-nature escape offers a unique experience. Occupying a secluded private cove, Bonjuk Bay draws an in-the-know crowd of creative guests, who are accommodated under safari-style canvas expanses, simple lotus tents or in stone cottages. Yoga sessions, free-diving lessons, musical performances, DJ-driven parties and random creative happenings are very much the Bonjuk scene. Space (24 max) is very limited.

Bonjuk's organic farm and garden provides delicious sustenance for rustic, healthy meals, and there's a cool lounge area, lovely dining room and ample space for chilling. The cove is also home to a community of (docile) sandbar sharks, as well as the odd ray and seal, so snorkelling is very rewarding. Non-guests are not really encouraged to visit, but should call ahead and are charged a ₺150 access fee to swim in the bay. Located 28km south of Akyaka or 25km north of Marmaris, access is via a dirt road.
