Contained in a caravanserai built under Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent in 1528, this ‘historic’ hotel is novel and perfectly located. The Ottoman facade impresses from afar; inside the 29 rooms are large, with showy, over-the-top baroque furnishings. You might stick to the Kubbe Restaurant, which is good, though service is slow. Wi-fi is dodgy due to the thick stone walls.
