Renovated by its architect owner, this beautiful fretworked 1920s house has bags of character, with a breezy veranda and a stylish outdoor space at the back with sundeck and a creatively tiled splash pool. The high-ceilinged rooms in the main house are spacious and pleasantly decorated, and have fridge and TV, while the stylish annex rooms share a kitchenette. Book ahead.

The friendly and knowledgeable owners are always on hand to provide local advice, and also own a fabulous villa in the Bocas islands that's available for rentals.
