Lauhata Beach Escape

Timor-Leste

There's plenty to do at this family-friendly spot right on the beach: sip coconuts under the palms, chill in the bar-restaurant (open to all-comers) or get the black sand between your toes playing volleyball. Rooms surround a grassy garden and are good value, especially midweek. Beach-facing bungalows and a pool were on the way at the time of research. Friendly Carlos and Bendu run the place well.
