Café Sjiek

Maastricht

This cosy spot is a great place to try traditional zuurvlees (sour stew) made with horsemeat and served with apple sauce. But there are also fresh fish dishes and cafe-classics like stroganoff, steaks, chicken and chips and quiche. It doesn't take reservations and is always busy, but you can eat at the bar.

In summer take a terrace table in the park opposite.
