Groningen

'Stay different' might be its slogan. In the Korrewegwijk neighborhood, a 2km bike ride north of the Martinitoren, these 12 city-owned flats on two different streets have been creatively renovated for short-term stays. It's a city initiative staffed by workers being trained to re-enter the labor force. Room names reflect the creative themed decor: Moulin Rouge, Klimt, Pink Roses, Vintage etc.
