New York Film Academy Café

Medieval Centre & Red Light District

Inside the Beurs van Berlage cultural centre, with a massive vintage movie camera in its foyer, this spectacular café with soaring vaulted-brick ceilings is attached to Amsterdam's branch of the New York Film Academy, running film-making and on-camera acting courses. Soak up craft beers and cocktails (Big Apple whisky sour, Wall Street frappé, dirty Dr Pepper…) with American street food.

Mustard-laced hot dogs, baby back ribs and chocolate brownies are favourites.
