Jacob's Juice

De Pijp

Reducing food waste was the inspiration behind Jacob's Juice. Its owners collect imperfect fruit and vegetables each day from the Albert Cuypmarkt that stallholders would otherwise discard (an average of 500kg per month). They then transform them into super-healthy juices (such as cucumber, celery and lemon), smoothies (eg pineapple, raspberry and passion fruit) and pickled veggies in recycled jam jars.
