Between Art & Kitsch B&B

De Pijp

Dutch painter Piet Mondrian once lived here – that's part of the art – while the kitsch includes the crystal chandelier in the baroque room and a smiling brass Buddha. The art-deco room has gorgeous tilework and views of the Rijksmuseum. Husband-and-wife hosts Ebo and Irene couldn't be friendlier. It's on the 3rd floor, reached by steep stairs (no lift).
