Guesthouse Albergo Alberga

Paramaribo

This long-running guesthouse is situated on a quintessentially colonial Parbo street in an endearing yet palpably aging World Heritage–listed building. Some rooms are quite spacious, while the little pool out back is great for a dunk after a day exploring Parbo, but there's no escaping the institutional feel here, with lots of rules and ugly carpeting.
