Staff go out of their way to be helpful at this country house hotel. Rooms are spacious and contemporary, with feature wallpaper, while common spaces have some characterful touches, such as granite fireplaces and model ships. The excellent restaurant showcases the best of local produce (with separate kids' menu) and fills up with regulars.
