Compass Point Beach Resort

Founded by Island Records supremo Chris Blackwell, this jumble of crayon-bright, 'Junkanoo-inspired' luxury huts is an automatic mood enhancer. They're on the small side, but hip furniture, surround-sound systems, cute porches, an excellent restaurant and astounding views make up for that. There's a poolside bar and monthly house parties draw the revelers, as does the daily happy hour.
