New Yorkers Mickey and Joan McGowan escaped city life to run this Swiss Family Robinson–like colony of beach cabanas, and their friendliness has earned them a loyal following. Snorkel, kayak, fish, borrow a bike, commune with the dogs on the beach, or just shoot the breeze with other guests in the small on-site restaurant and pub.
Remember there are no ATMs on the Cay. Unless you want to live very frugally, or make bothersome trips to Congo Town, come cashed up.
