A strange but welcome hole-in-the-wall serving Burmese (goat-and-lentil soup, tea-leaf salad) and Nepali (chicken masala, potato curry) food. The owner-chef's family were Gurkha soldiers who went to Burma with the British many generations ago and later ended up in Thailand. He'll patiently explain the many choices in the picture menu and can make most food vegetarian.
