Straddling a fine line between hotel and guesthouse, this fairly large place still falls into the latter category thanks to the breezy ground-floor lounge – full of a museum's worth of shells, photos and other knick-knacks – where you can chat with the charming owner and other guests.
All rooms are well appointed (the wicker furniture is a nice touch) and most have little balconies with a sliver of a sea view. The 600B air-con rooms are on the side at ground level and rather dark, but are still good value for Hua Hin, making this one of the best budget choices in town.
