New Hotel

Though the name is now ironic (check out the original telephone switchboard behind the desk), many decades ago this was top-of-the-line lodging for Surin. Old but clean, it's now home to frugal foreign backpackers and travelling Thai salespeople. Cracking location, though, right outside the train station.
