Thaweesuk is a friendly family-run place in a historic building with a colourful mosaic-floor lobby on north Th Phetkasem. Ground-floor cold-water fan/air-con rooms are simple, compact and clean. Hot-water air-con pads on the 1st floor are rather more stylish, with varnished-wood floors. There's also a four-bed family room. Breakfast is downstairs in the lounge-like lobby.
