Pimali

Nong Khai

Pimali is a nonprofit organisation providing training for poor local youths (mostly orphans) in the hospitality industry. Its students manage four plush, fully stocked bungalows overlooking rice paddies, and a white-linen restaurant serving Thai, Isan and European food. It's deep in the countryside, 20km from the city; a one-way transfer costs 300B.
