Close to the Night Ferry and Night Market near the historic centre, this friendly hostel has the cheapest beds in town. You get your own spacious pod in a dorm for less than the price of a bunk elsewhere. The showers and toilets are a tad small, but rooms are kept immaculately clean and there are stunning views over the river from the rooftop terrace.

The hostel is also a great place for travellers passing through Surat as it offers a luggage storage service, showers and toilets for small fees and can arrange all kinds of bus and boat tickets for onward travel.
