Dearly Koh Tao Hostel

Ko Tao

Located on the road that leads inland from Chalok Ban Kao, this hostel has all the right ingredients: clean, comfortable, contemporary (but also traditional) rooms, bubbly and friendly staff, rattan furniture and a rooftop terrace. There's a mix of dorms and private rooms, and a swimming pool.

The hostel can arrange pick up from the pier for a small charge, but if you walk from the pier, it will take around 20 to 25 minutes.
