In a monkey-filled jungle bordering a rushing river with a limestone-cliff-framed swimming hole, Art's enjoys Khao Sok's prettiest setting. The stilted brick, shingled and all-wood bungalows are spacious and comfy; they come with balconies and many offer river views. There's a host of family-friendly activities. From the highway junction, travel 1.5km along the main village road, look for the signpost to the hotel and travel another 700m to the lodge.
Nonguests can visit the swimming hole here, which is also popular with locals and monkeys. The breakfast buffet is filling and well made.
