Istanbul Restaurant

Top choice in Hat Kata

This delightful family-run place is the most popular foreign restaurant in Kata and for good reason. The food is simply splendid, ranging from big Western- or Turkish-style breakfasts to completely authentic and supertasty mains such as hünkar beğendi (beef stew on a bed of eggplant puree), kebabs and Turkish pide. Then there are the superb soups, salads and delectable desserts.

It's 700m inland down Th Koktanod from the junction with Th Kata: it's worth the walk.
